Good Morning Nashville USNA Family,

ATTENTION WORLD!!!!!        ATTENTION WORLD!!!!!!!

The USNA Men's Glee Club is scheduled to perform with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra in the Symphony "Pops" series at the Schermerhorn Center during the Veterans Day weekend, November 8th, 9th and 10th. Many alumni, families and "Friends of USNA" were anticipating an opportunity to purchase group tickets to one of the performances. Unfortunately, when "Pops" season ticket holders renewed their series subscriptions in the spring, the concert was immediately SOLD OUT and efforts were even considered by the Symphony to schedule an additional concert because of the demand.

Here's the GOOD news....the symphony efforts for an additional concert became "too hard" due to prior concert center commitments. Late yesterday afternoon, USNA confirmed plans to hold a full scale PUBLIC performance on Sunday, November 11th beginning at 1400 at the Brentwood Hills Church of Christ (BHCC), 5120 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37220 (for all of you GPS players). Mr. Fred Frawley, Chairman of the BHCC Veterans Committee as well as a LTC/USA (Ret) has been doing all of the "heavy lifting" regards to some major church logistical support (mid bus transportation, lunches for the eighty plus (80+) USNA Men's Glee Club, sound/stage equipment, etc.) that's running into the thousands of dollars. As the final arrangements are completed, you'll be given an opportunity to show your appreciation to the BHCC and financially "help" in any way you can, more details to follow!

The mids are scheduled to depart Nashville for their return flight to BWI at 1900 that evening and a preliminary plan has ample time after the concert to meet/visit with the mids. We'll "brainstorm" any additional ideas later this morning if you're planning to show up at out Wake Forest/Navy tailgate party, Cool Springs Embassy Suites Hotel Sports Bar....kick-off at 1200, formation at 1130!

Beat Wake Forest!
