FLEET HOME TOWN NEWS RELEASE PROGRAM

In order to release information on any midshipman to local newspapers, the
Public Affairs Office is required to have the midshipman's written consent
in the form of a signature. If your midshipman would like to have
newsworthy information sent to his or her local newspapers, he or she can
obtain the appropriate form in one of two ways:

(1) If the midshipman returns to the Naval Academy during the summer (prior
to the start of the school year) he or she can stop into the Public Affairs
Office (first floor of the Administration building next to the Chapel) and
fill out the appropriate form.

(2) If the midshipman returns to the Naval Academy after the start of the
school year,he or she can obtain the form from his or her Company PAO
(Public Affairs Officer), fill it out and return it to the Public Affairs
Office.
